Exterior Paint Color Formulas

  • Blue Trim: Providence Blue 1636
  • Siding, Garage Doors, and Side Door to Garage: Mannequin Cream 0C-92
  • Front Doors and French Doors: White
  • Pillars: White

* These colors are Benjamin Moore Paint. Semi-oil paint is recommended.

Aluminum Coil Stock

(to cover blue wood trim and wood pillars)

  • Pillars: White
  • Blue Aluminum trim: Alcan Brand, Wedgewood Blue (This particular product is discontinued. The GPWHA has purchased a limited supply of this brand blue trim and can be purchased from the Board for use on small jobs)

Vinyl Siding

The GPWHA is seeking a source for vinyl siding that most closely matches the current color. Please contact the Board for current information.

Awnings

SunSetter Retractable. Color must be either:

  • Traditional Laminate fabric in CREAM
  • Woven acrylic fabric in NATURAL LINEN

Decks

Pay particular attention to matching the size and style of the original deck.

  • Trex Material: “Saddle Brown” color only. You will need to paint any remaining pressure-treated wood to match the Trex. It can be found at Home Depot 17c Johnson City, NY.
  • Natural Wood: Protect with clear waterproofing or stain consistent with natural or Glen Park Trex. Daniels Paint has recommended a formula to match Trex Saddle. Daniel's Paint 242 Main Street, Binghamton, NY.
  • Alternative: Veranda ArmorGuard Brown (best) or Trex Enhance Beach Dune.

Windows

We recommend models with the dividers permanently placed between the two sheets of glass for complete window replacement. Whereas the original grid pattern is three rows of 3 panes each (9 panes each), models with two rows of 3 panes each (6 panes total) are acceptable.

The arched Window must be as pictured or with the semi-circle solid. These are the only two approved windows. Others are in violation and will require replacement before the sale of the townhouse. The approved provider is Allstate glass.

Screen Doors

Must be white, preferably with a full glass panel for winter and a full-screen panel for summer.
